Sofia Causa (age 9) Plays the PianoSofia Causa is 9 years old and has a visual impairment. Sofia's disability has never stopped her from pursuing her dreams of playing the piano and even composing her own pieces!

Patrick Ivison on the Today Show: Patrick Ivison is 14 years old and in the 9th grade. When he was just 14 months old, Patrick suffered a horrible accident and was diagnosed a quadriplegic as a result of an incomplete C-4/C-5 spinal cord injury. Patrick was interviewed by the Today Show about his achievements in sports and goal of walking across the stage at his high school graduation.

UM-NSU CARD Dream Team Baseball League for Children with Autism: The University of Miami - Nova Southeastern University Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (UM-NSU CARD) sponsors a baseball league in Homestead, Florida for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The league was developed by a mom who wanted somewhere for her child to play baseball and not just sit on the bench. The league now has 48 players which practice and play games every Saturday between January and June. Dr. Michael Alessandri, Executive Director of UM-NSU CARD is a proud sponsor and supporter of the "Dream Team."

"Tengo una pregunta para usted" - Joven con síndrome de Down pregunta a Rodriguez Zapatero: Izaskun Buelta, con síndrome de Down y dependienta de una bombonería en Madrid, preguntó al presidente Rodríguez Zapatero acerca de las oportunidades laborales de las personas con síndrome de Down. (Izaskun Buelta has Down syndrome and is an attendant in a candy shop in Madrid. She asked President Rodriguez Zapatero about labor opportunities for persons with Down syndrome.
