Parent to Parent of Miami complies with all Internal Revenue Service rules and regulations and annually completes Form 990 – Return of Organization Exempt from Income Tax. IRS regulations require nonprofits to make their Form 990 information returns available for public inspection. Form 990 reports the financial activities of the organization, reporting its gross receipts from grantors and donors and all financial expenditures.
Additionally, an annual audit is conducted yearly and issues an opinion on the nonprofits balance sheet and income statements. It also provides a historical perspective on the sources and uses of the organization's cash for the period report.
