The talk will focus on highly effective parent strategies to improve behavior in young children while strengthening parent-child relationships. The presenter will review:

– The “Intervention Pyramid” including positive strategies such as how to structure the environment, give choices, and use praise effectively.

– How to use natural and logical consequences.

– The Parent-Child Interaction Therapy program at University of Miami.
