The federal government's Social Security Administration administers two large programs that provide cash assistance to people with disabilities: the Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) program and the Supplemental Security Income (SSI) program. Children ages 0 to18 may get SSI benefits but the application process can be complicated. This workshop will explain the: eligibility requirements, time frames, interview process, and appeal process.
