I wanted to see how many other parents have difficult times setting up play dates and
social opportunities for kids. If you have a hard time like me, please respond and we can coordinate
some outings for the kids.
My son just turned 6.

Hi,
Tell me, you said you have difficult times setting up play dates. What kinds of problems have you had?
Jiovanni loves play dates. I think it would be a good thing for him to have a one on one play date before a group meet. In that way he can get to know his new friend and then look forward to meeting up at a group play date. In terms of a group meet, he would do best if it was organized and knew what to expect in advance. We could talk with each other and find out what the kids mutually enjoy and go from there. This summer he's going to camp, so weekdays are out, but weekends are good.
I'd love to do this.
