dianet976 Posts 1	My son age 8 is is 3rd grade and is currently attending a School listed as "in need of improvement" therefore I have the option to remove him. I don't know which school in dade county is good. He is high functioning and even qualifies for the Mckay scholarship but have always thoght private school is for low functioning kids. PLEASE HELP WITH DIRECTION.

lbustos Posts 6	Hello, One option is to request a copy from your region of the Public schools available through McKay with and with out transportation depending on if you need it or not. These schools have space available you can see which are within reasonable distance from your home. You can contact them and request information about their programs. It can help you narrow down your search. Visit their website findout if they are an "A - B" school
