musicalmommy Posts 1	I've seen them in the IEP meetings I've attended as a teacher at my school once or twice but do not know how I go about finding one. My daughter is finishing up her private speech evaluation tomorrow and I would like to sit down with an advocate before going into any IEP meeting. I have no idea what she will qualify for or how to go about pushing for what I think is right for my child, who just turned 3 years old last week. She was in the Early Steps program here but I was told before her first meeting that she would not qualify for anything based on the Early Steps test results, hence the private evaluation. It was a hard enough to get them to push back the IEP meeting but thankfully they did. I cannot ask here at the school because I do not want to offend those that have helped me already to get this far. Any information will help...I've called the number on this website and left a message asking someone to contact me but have not heard anything as of yet. Thanks for the help!
