Marisela Hernandez
Education & Support Specialist
Marisela has a Bachelor in Actuarial Science from Universidad Central de Venezuela. She worked in the insurance field for more than 20 years and later became a Registered Behavior Technician to help her daughter, who has Down Syndrome and was receiving ABA intervention. She changed her career and life path to help and advocate for kids with special needs and their families, knowing by her own experience the multiple challenges they must face daily. Recently she joined Parent to Parent of Miami to continue supporting the special needs community in a more extensive way. Marisela has been involved, working, and helping special needs kids and their community as an individual since 2014.
