Community Events Coordinator

Rosy Ramos initially collaborated as a volunteer and has been working at Parent to Parent of Miami since 1999. Throughout the years, she has shared her knowledge and experience with families while fulfilling several positions. Her strength and experience in the field of administration, her outstanding organizational skills, and her passion for helping others, make her a key employee in the day to day operations. At Parent to Parent of Miami, Rosy makes a difference in the lives of families who have children and adults with special needs.

Rosy was born in Cuba and raised in Miami, Florida. She shares her home with her husband Manny, daughter Melissa, son Michael, and her beloved Dachshund, named Toby. Melissa, who was diagnosed at birth with a neurological disorder called Agenesis of the Corpus Callosum, has taught her the true meaning of unconditional love. On her free time, Rosy enjoys relaxing in sandy beaches, and she enjoys anything to do with music and dance.
