Understanding Anxiety Disorders in Children

In this presentation, participants will learn the different types of anxiety disorders such as phobia, panic disorder, GAD, social anxiety, separation anxiety, selective mutism and agoraphobia, and how they are manifested in children and adolescents. Participants will also learn how to explain anxiety to their child or adolescents using the “grizzly bear” approach.
