“Turning 18” for young adults with special needs

Turning 18 is a big deal! It is when you’re considered an adult. For some of you, this feeling may feel very exciting and long overdue … for some of you, it may feel scary and seem like a world of the unknown.

This workshop will inform and prepare you with the information you need to know when becoming 18 years old.  Learning about your rights and what to expect when you turn into an adult, it is an essential piece to navigate this new phase of your life. These are important things when it comes to self-advocacy.
